యునైటెడ్ అరబ్ ఎమిరేట్స్ రాజధాని దుబాయ్ భారీ వర్షాలకు అతలాకుతలం అయింది. హఠాత్తుగా వస్తున్న ఉరుములు, మెరుపులు ప్రజలను భయకంపితులను చేశాయి. సోమవారం అర్థరాత్రి ప్రారంభమైన భారీ వర్షం మంగళవారం ఉదయం వరకు కొనసాగింది. దుబాయ్లో కురిసిన భారీ వర్షానికి విమానాశ్రయం, మెట్రో స్టేషన్లు, మాల్స్, రోడ్లు, వ్యాపార సంస్థలు వరద నీటిలో మునిగిపోయాయి. దుబాయ్ అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయంలో గడచిన 24 గంటల్లో దాదాపు 160 మిల్లీమీటర్ల వర్షపాతం నమోదైంది.యూఏఈలోని కొన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లో 24 గంటల వ్యవధిలో 80 మిల్లీమీటర్ల (3.2 అంగుళాలు) కంటే అధిక వర్షపాతం నమోదయ్యింది. ఏడాది మొత్తం మీద కురవాల్సిన వర్షం ఒకే రోజు, దుబాయ్లో వరదలు బీభత్సం ఎలా ఉందో ఈ వీడియోలు చూస్తే తెలిసిపోతుంది
