Earthquake in Turkey and Syria: భూకంప ప్రభావిత ప్రాంతాల్లో కొనసాగుతున్న సహాయక చర్యలు, 15 వేలు దాటిన మృతుల సంఖ్య

టర్కీ, సిరియాల్లో భూకంపం ధాటికి రెండు దేశాల్లో మరణించిన వారి సంఖ్య 15 వేలు దాటింది. ప్రకృతి ప్రకోపానికి వేల సంఖ్యలో భవనాలు పేకమేడల్లా కుప్పకూలిపోయాయి. రెస్క్యూ సిబ్బంది రాత్రి పగలు అని తేడాలేకుండా సహాయక చర్యలు కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు. దీంతో శిథిలాల కిందినుంచి పెద్దసంఖ్య మృతదేహాలు బయటపడుతున్నాయి. మృతుల సంఖ్య మరింత పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉందని. కాగా, ఇరుదేశాల్లో భూకంప మృతులు 20 వేలకుపైగా ఉంటుందని ప్రపంచ ఆరోగ్య సంస్థ (డబ్ల్యూహెచ్‌వో) ఇప్పటికే ప్రకటించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.

టర్కీకి భారత్‌ వంతుగా సహాయం అందిస్తున్నది. భారత్‌ నుంచి టర్కీకి వెళ్లిన మూడు ఎన్డీఆర్‌ఎఫ్‌ బృందాలు భూకంప ప్రభావిత ప్రాంతమైన నూర్దగీలో సహాయక చర్యలో చురుకుగా పాల్గొంటున్నాయి. ఆర్మీ మెడికల్‌ బృందాలు క్షతగాత్రులకు వైద్యసాయం అందిస్తున్నాయి.
