అగ్నిపథ్ స్కీమ్పై ఆర్మీ చీఫ్ జనరల్ మనోజ్ పాండే ఇవాళ ఓ ప్రకటన చేశారు. ఆర్మీ పరీక్ష కోసం సిద్దమవుతున్న యువతకు వయోపరిమితిని ఒకసారి పెంచే అవకాశం కేంద్రం కల్పించినట్లు ఆయన వెల్లడించారు. రిక్రూట్మెంట్ ఏజ్ను 23 ఏళ్లకు పెంచినట్లు ఆర్మీ చీఫ్ తెలిపారు.

అగ్నిపథ్ స్కీమ్పై ఆర్మీ చీఫ్ జనరల్ మనోజ్ పాండే ఇవాళ ఓ ప్రకటన చేశారు. ఆర్మీ పరీక్ష కోసం సిద్దమవుతున్న యువతకు వయోపరిమితిని ఒకసారి పెంచే అవకాశం కేంద్రం కల్పించినట్లు ఆయన వెల్లడించారు. రిక్రూట్మెంట్ ఏజ్ను 23 ఏళ్లకు పెంచినట్లు ఆర్మీ చీఫ్ తెలిపారు. ఈ నిర్ణయం వల్ల దేశంలోని యువతకు తమ దేశభక్తిని చాటుకునే అవకాశం దొరుకుతుందని, కోవిడ్ సమయంలోనూ తీవ్రంగా కష్టపడ్డ యువతకు ఇప్పుడు మంచి అవకాశం లభిస్తుందని ఆయన అన్నారు. గడిచిన రెండేళ్లు కోవిడ్ ఆంక్షల వల్ల ఆర్మీ రిక్రూట్మెంట్ను నిర్వహించలేదన్నారు. అయితే రిక్రూట్మెంట్కు చెందిన షెడ్యూల్ను త్వరలోనే ప్రకటించనున్నట్లు ఆర్మీ చీఫ్ మనోజ్ పాండే తెలిపారు. భారతీయ యువత అగ్నివీరులుగా ఆర్మీలో చేరే అవకాశాన్ని వినియోగించుకోవాలని ఆయన కోరారు.
