బీహార్లో రైలు ప్రమాదం చోటు చేసుకుంది. సంపర్క్ క్రాంతి ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ రైలుకు భారీ ముప్పు తప్పింది. సమస్తిపూర్ వద్ద ఈ రైలు ఇంజిన్, రెండు బోగీల నుంచి ఇతర బోగీలు విడిపోయాయి. ఈ ఘటనలో ఎవరికీ గాయాలు కాలేదు. ఘటనపై నిపుణుల బృందం దర్యాఫ్తును ప్రారంభించింది.

ప్రమాద సమయంలో రైలు తక్కువ వేగంతో వెళ్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు చెప్పారు. వెంటనే అప్రమత్తమైన అధికారులు సుమారు గంట పాటు శ్రమించి విడిపోయిన బోగీలను ఇంజిన్కు కనెన్ట్ చేసినట్లు తూర్పు మధ్య రైల్వే చీఫ్ పబ్లిక్ రిలేషన్ ఆఫీసర్ చంద్ర తెలిపారు. ఈ ఘటనకు గల కారణాలను నిపుణుల బృందం పరీశీలిస్తున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
