మైనర్‌పై బలవంతంగా లింగమార్పిడి ఆపరేషన్ చేశారన్న ఆరోపణలపై వైద్యుడిపై ఎఫ్‌ఐఆర్‌ను రద్దు చేసేందుకు కర్ణాటక హైకోర్టు నిరాకరించింది. ఫిబ్రవరి 2018లో తనపై నమోదైన ఎఫ్‌ఐఆర్‌ను, ఆమెపై దాఖలైన చార్జిషీట్‌ను రద్దు చేయాలని కోరుతూ డాక్టర్ అనితా పాటిల్ దాఖలు చేసిన పిటిషన్‌ను జస్టిస్ సూరజ్ గోవిందరాజ్‌లతో కూడిన సింగిల్ జడ్జి బెంచ్ కొట్టివేసింది.
