లోక్సభలో దూకిన ఆగంతకుడిని ఎదురుగా వెళ్లి గతంలో పోలీస్గా పని చేసిన వైఎస్సార్సీపీ ఎంపీ గోరంట్ల మాధవ్ పట్టుకున్నారు. గోరంట్ల మాధవ్ మీడియా మాట్లాడుతూ, బెంచీలు దాటుకొని, స్పీకర్ చైర్ వైపు దూసుకొచ్చి ఆగంతకుడు దాడి చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడని, ఎదురుగా వెళ్లి అతనిని నేరుగా పట్టుకున్నానని అన్నారు.
పార్లమెంట్పై దాడి జరిగి నేటికి 22 ఏళ్లు పూర్తయిన వేళ లోక్సభలో బుధవారం ఉదయం తీవ్ర భద్రతా వైఫల్యం తలెత్తింది. రాజ్యాంగాన్ని కాపాడాలని నినాదాలు చేస్తూ ఇద్దరు వ్యక్తులు సందర్శకుల గ్యాలరీ నుంచి ఒక్కసారిగా సభలోకి దూకారు. సభలోకి దూకిన వ్యక్తులు టియర్ గ్యాస్ వదిలారు. దీంతో సీట్లలో ఉన్న ఎంపీలంతా ఒక్కసారిగా పరుగులు తీశారు. జీరో అవర్ కొనసాగుతుండగా ఘటన జరిగింది.
