ప్రకృతి ప్రకోపానికి గురైన వయనాడ్ నుంచి విషాదకర వీడియోలు బయటకు వస్తున్నాయి. ఇప్పటికే 63 మంది మృతి చెందారని కేరళ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఇంకా సహాయక చర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. మంగళవారం తెల్లవారుజామున అక్కడ కొండచరియలు, బురద ధాటికి పదుల సంఖ్యలో ప్రజలు శిథిలాల్లో చిక్కుకుపోయారు
ప్రకృతి ప్రకోపానికి గురైన వయనాడ్ నుంచి విషాదకర వీడియోలు బయటకు వస్తున్నాయి. ఇప్పటికే 63 మంది మృతి చెందారని కేరళ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఇంకా సహాయక చర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. మంగళవారం తెల్లవారుజామున అక్కడ కొండచరియలు, బురద ధాటికి పదుల సంఖ్యలో ప్రజలు శిథిలాల్లో చిక్కుకుపోయారు. తీవ్రంగా ప్రవహిస్తున్న నీటిలో ఓ కారు కొట్టకుపోయింది. ముందక్కాయిలో ఉన్న ఓ మదరసాలో 150 మంది చిక్కుకున్నారు. 4 గంటల్లోనే మూడుసార్లు కొండచరియలు విరిగిపడడంతో.. రోడ్లు, బ్రిడ్జ్లు కొట్టుకుపోయాయి. రైల్వే లైన్లు కూడా దెబ్బతిన్నాయి.
వయనాడ్లోని ముండకై, మెప్పాడి, చురల్మల ప్రాంతాల్లో భారీగా వరదలు వచ్చాయి. ఈ క్రమంలోనే రాత్రి ఒంటి గంట సమయంలో ముండకై ప్రాంతంలో కొండచరియలు విరిగిపడ్డాయి. ఉదయం 4:10 గంటలకు ముండకై ప్రాంతంలో కొండ చరియలు విరిగి పడ్డాయి. భారీగా వరదలు, కొండచరియలు విరిగి పడడంతో అనేక ఇళ్లు కొట్టుకు పోయాయి. ధన నష్టంతో పాటు ప్రాణ నష్టం సైతం సంభవించింది. వయనాడ్ మృత్యుఘోష, 63కి పెరిగిన మృతుల సంఖ్య, ఇంకా శిథిలాల కింద వందలాది మంది బాధితులు, కొనసాగుతున్న సహాయక చర్యలు
