దేశంలో ఐదు రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఎన్నికలు ముగిసాయి.మధ్యప్రదేశ్లో నవంబర్ 17న ఒకే దశలో 230 అసెంబ్లీ స్థానాలకు పోలింగ్ జరిగింది. మధ్యప్రదేశ్లో ప్రస్తుతం శివరాజ్ సింగ్ చౌహాన్ నేతృత్వంలోని బీజేపీ అధికారంలో ఉంది. బీజేపీకి ప్రత్యర్థిగా కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ప్రధానంగా ఉంది.
