గల్ఫ్ ఆఫ్ ఏడెన్లోని వాణిజ్య నౌకపై యెమెన్కు చెందిన హౌతీ తిరుగుబాటుదారులు బుధవారం జరిపిన క్షిపణి దాడిలో (Houthi missile) ముగ్గురు సిబ్బంది మరణించారు. ప్రాణాలతో బయటపడినవారు ఓడను విడిచిపెట్టవలసి వచ్చింది. వారిని కాపాడేందుకు అత్యంత క్లిష్టపరిస్థితుల్లో రెస్క్యూ ఆపరేషన్ (Indian Navy rescues) నిర్వహించి పలువురిని భారత యుద్ద నౌక కాపాడింది.

శరవేగంగా స్పందించిన ఐఎన్ఎస్ కోల్కతా.. 21 మందిని రక్షించడంతో పాటు వాళ్లకు అత్యవసర చికిత్సను సైతం అందించింది.వీరిలో ఒక భారతీయుడు కూడా ఉన్నారు. ఈ వివరాలను భారత నేవీ తన ఎక్స్ ఖాతాలో వెల్లడించింది.ఇందుకోసం ఐఎన్ఎస్లోని హెలికాప్టర్, బోట్ల సర్వీసులను ఉపయోగించినట్లు తెలిపింది. నేవీ రక్షించిన వాళ్లలో.. ఓ భారతీయుడు కూడా ఉన్నాడట. మరోవైపు గత కొన్నివారాలుగా పశ్చిమ హిందూ మహాసముద్రంలో భారత నావికా దళం వాణిజ్య నౌకలకు రక్షణగా తన వంతు పహరా కాస్తోంది.
